^^^ Whtever, we really didn't need another striker. Frankly, I don't buy into these he said-he said stories.

-It seems that Pintos is in Getafe but not on loan. He singed 5 year contract. Its unofficial though. -Despite Lugano, two more Brazilians are "watched" for January.
* Howcame we don't need another striker. Zarate and Rocchi underachieve past seasons and only god can tell how many they will score this one. From Kozak we don't know what to expect. That leaves us only with Floccari. I really want to believe that Hernanes is our miracle and that everything will be alright but I stooped believing fairytale's long time ago.

Tik, it's official. Pintos é Getafe for 5 years. Yeah I also think we need a new striker - I repeat, the system is not helping, but I'd be willing to bet that Kozak won't work. Scoring against Serie D teams in friendlies is completely different to doing it against Serie A defences. Expecting and demanding from Hernanes is one thing, but I'm deeply concerned that we are expecting performances from Foggia, who the facts show does not contribute with enough goals or assists to take us to the next level.

Next level, I lost clue what it should be, top 10? We have been talking about that next level for such a long time, but things were just getting worse, I remeber it meant Cl spot at some point, but now I am confused

Fabio Firmani is on his way out - one way or another. It could be by contract annullment, it could be to Cluj. Either way, I look forward to his vattenation. A technically useless footaller and an exact reason why I do not care about born and bred Laziale playing for this team unless they have the skills to match their desire. Desire alone is worthless.

According to LLSN, Lazio is sixth in salary after Inter, Milan, Juve, Roma, and Fiorentina with 41 million Euros.
The breakdown is as follows (salary per season):
Zarate 2 Hernanes 1.6 Ledesma 1.4 Muslera 1.4 Rocchi 1.3 Brocchi 1.2 Floccari 1.2 Garrido 1.1 Bresciano 1 Dias 1 Matuzalem 1 Mauri 0.9 Foggia 0.9 Stendardo 0.9 Biava 0.8 Lichtsteiner 0.8 Bizzarri 0.7 Scaloni 0.7 Gonzalez 0.5 Del Nero 0.4 Firmani 0.4 Meghni 0.4 Radu 0.4 Diakitè 0.3 Kozak 0.3

I reckon Andi will quote your post, made Radu bold and go... WTF *facepalm*
I on the other hand will question, two million per year for Zarate. Simply unbelievable. That re-affirms my belief that Zarate must go this year if he doesn't score 10 open play goals. And actually I have a mind to demand that he gets more then that, since he's earning so much.

^^ you're right of course but that's neither Lotito's nor Zarate's fault. After his first year, I think you'd have been VERY hard pressed to find anyone in the Serie A world who didn't think Zarate wasn't worth that money. I have a problem with the system that allows players to sign contracts and respect them only when it suits them.

Given our extremely expansive squad, I think Lotito's still done well in keeping the salary costs down, especially knowing that Mathieu Flamini earns more than 5 millions per season I actually think several of our players are underpaid in comparison to what similar players in say, England or Spain are. But we really need a billionare now to win the league again. I don't want to die with Lazio having only won the league once in my lifetime. I want to die a happy man

Apparently Lotito has an agreement with Joao Miranda, a defender who plays on Sao Paolo to come to Lazio during the summer mercato. His contract is up at that time and he isn't renewing so make of it what you will. The article is on tuttomercatoweb.

Don't know anything about this Miranda and even though he would come for free it could be a bad move. If him coming in means no Lugano I'm not impressed.

There were some rumours we refused a 25 mil offer from Tottenham, I hope this was just a rumour, in case we intend to sell him during winterbreak we definately won't get any offer close to 25 mil, he is awful, plain and simple. Zarate for Rossi-yes please.
