I know that, but I believe it won't be a big problem to find teams for those players, obviously Hernanes and Radu. you have plenty teams in South America for Gonzalez, Ledesma and Dias. no disrespect, but they are all shit this year. and its not just them. You must make moves to be better, simple as that.

So release them (Hernanes, Radu, Gonzalez, Ledesma, Dias) and you will have money to buy better players.

Surely you jest! We have a 5th place team and we want to ditch players like we're Real Madrid. Seriously? C'mon man, let's be rational.

we are in fifth place because we beat some shitty teams, It's not really enough for a team that wants to be in the top 3. those players that i want are not the best in the world, but they are better than what we have, and thats what I'm talking about.

I don't think we'll stay in fifth place for too long. Sorry if I'm pessimistic, But this team is not going anywhere, Especially with this coach!

Hope I'm wrong.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2092906/QPR-bid-sign-Djibril-Cisse-Lazio.html

it's better for him to move on, he doesn't get along with Reja.

I'll be sad if he leaves, But I hope he'll score many goals in QPR and then celebrate with the shirt which will be written: FUCK YOU REJA.

Cissè.. Cissè..  Cissè.. Cissè.. Cissè.. L'hanno visto, con la Blasi, con la Blasi nel privè..

5 million is too little for him even at his age, not under 7-8 million.

Also I believe we should keep him until summer.

We don't have the funds from up top to compete with the big three, whoever is coaching this team. It is as simple as that given we have no financial sugar daddy at our disposal anymore. Release Hernanes, Radu, Dias and Ledesma and take Zarate back amongst others? The latter has continued to proved at Inter he is simply a one season, or half a season, wonder. Mendieta aside the biggest waste of money we've ever managed to spend.

While i'm not against keeping Cisse until June, If we sell him - so be it. Frankly, Rocchi has proven to be much more effective and Kozak needs to play. If we are going to play 4-2-3-1, which with Honda (and even Krasic too IF)  would be a good fit, then three strikers is fine - espescially if one of those three is a certain strapping German who has refound his form.

And i forgot to add that Zarate is likely coming back in June (who knows, perhaps even sooner). Like or not, we have to consider it.

as for blaming Reja for Cisse's lack of performance - PLEASE spare me! It's Zarate redux. What are we saying here? A professional seasoned player like Cisse can only play a specific position, limited to a very restricted swath of pitch? Really? Reja didn't ask Cisse to play Central Defender for Christsake, he asked him to play second point. Cisse will do well in England because it's less tactical and more open. PERIOD. Even Honda said that Italian football may not be the best, but it's the most difficult. and players want to test themselves against it's rigorous tactical standard. Cisse, like Henry, has failed (thusfar).

with our midfield, Pippo will be useless here. we need someone who can create by himself. Podolski? Zarate?

oh and yeah, Forget about Krasic.

Milos Krasic’s agent confirmed the Juventus outcast “will only move to a top club, preferably in England, so with all due respect Lazio are not in his thoughts.”

Please no more comparing Zarate to Cisse. The circumstances are like night and day. Zarate was loaned to us then full on purchased for €20 million. Cisse came for €5.8 million, and if reports out of London are true, he commands a larger transfer fee than Zarate right now. While both have underperformed in the Lazio shirt, by all accounts Cisse has not been poisonous to the team chemistry as Zarate was. While Zarate was always criticized for his ball hogging tendencies, Cisse has lead the team with five assists in Serie A play. Did you guys see how supportive the entire team was two days ago when he finally scored against Milan? I get the feeling his mates actually like him. If Cisse leaves us this transfer window, I thank him for his constant effort and willingness to try his hand at Italian soccer. May not have worked out, but by no means a failure.

Buying Zarate was our second biggest mistake. Our biggest was not selling him to City for a profit when we had the chance. But hindsight is 20/20. at the time no one wanted to see him go.

All this talk about Zarate being our worst mistake second to Mendietta doesn't hold true. I really doubt that after watching him lead us to a Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Titles which followed a stellar campaign people were thinking he was useless. The caliber and quality of goals he scored in our shirt haven't been replicated since. I don't think he fits Reja's system. A good coach would really get him going again. You don't lose that type of talent overnight.

@PPL, I agree substantially with your post, but as a point of clarification - i wasn't comparing Cisse to Zarate, I was comparing the belief of some fans that the problem with both was Reja's placement of them on the field.

@ Daniele. I agree. Mendietta was a 100 million Lira tank job. I was at his first match in Rome against Coppenhagen in the CL, the electricity of expectation was palpable. Zarate is more of a big disappointment, than an utter failure. And you're right that type of talent doesn't just evaporate. The question is whether anyone thinks it's worth the risk to try again with him. I'm not sure.
