but i think Lazio do not have money troubles its replacing him that is more important here.

-ledesma's a solid player
-he's also a fan favourite

I think he's mediocre but has a lot to prove still. Last season he was horrible and was non-existant in some games, and I'm not sure how much of a fan favorite he really is, especially after this whole fiasco of him wanting more money... if he wasn't that driven by money you wouldn't have seen so much media on this topic. His mentality should be to have a successful year than give lotito an ultimatum ...

I personally would've kept behrami anyday over this guy.

You never know what goes on behind closed doors at the clubs...it may be totally different wht they say in the media.

I agree. Who knows what the story really is, and enough ex-lazio players are bitter towards lotito.

PLEASE SELL THIS GUY NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is obvious he cant stay here anymore.
But no matter when we sell the pay will not be as high as we would expect.

1... He didnt have a good season.
2... clubs will know he has just one year left b4 he can execute that article 17, they may want to price low seeing that we may be desperate to offload.

We really need to buy a replacement now and keep mutarelli.\

He got this italian citizenship and decided to be a rebel, true he must secure himself but the attitude is bad.

If this guy is so good when wont he get a call to the argentinian national team? And if lippi accepts to call him then it will be a shame and a spite on the italian youngsters.

PLEASE SELL THIS GUY NOW...............we have 31 days to find a buyer.

If we can get that much money for him we should look at players like menez, riquelme or aimar again for his replacements all of which have played in europe.

Your right, ledesma wasn't good enough for the argentine team, but aimar and especially star riquelme were. I think its time to bring a big name to Lazio who people are not only familiar with but have proven to be superb  assets to the teams they've played on.

Apparently Ledesma's agent dismissed Inters offer and says Ledesma will play the season with Lazio then we'll see what happens.

I think we should sit ledesma on the bench for the whole season and the only time he can play with Lazio is on his ps2.

Without renewing his contract that guy shouldn't be able to play.

True. Who knows how true that really is. I'm not a fan of lotito by any means, but I'll stand by him on this situation. Ledesma needs to leave and FAST!

Mourinho To Pounce For Ledesma?
Inter may turn their attentions to Lazio midfielder, Cristian Ledesma, as their hunt for a midfielder gathers pace according to Sportmediaset.
The Nerazzurri are still hunting for a midfielder and with Frank Lampard looking unlikely to join them, Jose Mourinho is searching elsewhere.

Lazio’s Argentine star looks like he will be leaving the club after falling out with them over a contract dispute. Sportmediaset claims that the Nerazzurri are on standby and they could swoop for the player in a €5m deal.

Ledesma is a versatile player and he would offer the ‘Special One’ plenty of cover for the injury-prone Patrick Vieira and Esteban Cambiasso.

It is believed Mourinho is a big fan of the 26-year old. Inter sporting directors Marco Branca and Lele Oriali are ready to fly to Rome and wrap up a deal.

Inter have been linked with Ricardo Quaresma and Tiago but they haven’t really made any progress regarding the Portuguese duo.

Ledesma is looking to cut and run from the Biancocelesti and Inter are likely to welcome him with open arms should he end up running towards the San Siro.

Yeah I just read it. It is posible but it says that pele isn't coming. In a another post possible swing between Stankovic and Ledesma, as Inter don't like to pay the total sum for Ledesma.

I want to see him leave and soon too. I've read somewhere he might even stay now. I can't look at him the same way anymore. We need to simply find a player that can replace him of equal skill level. Yes he may have some talent but how can you possibly cheer for someone who would take the first chance he gets to leave the club.

Ledesma open to Juve move
Sunday 17 August, 2008
Cristian Ledesma’s agent has refused to confirm or deny he is awaiting a transfer to Juventus.

“These are decisions that come down to President Claudio Lotito, so I can neither confirm nor deny the existence of negotiations,” said Vincenzo D’Ippolito.

“I have not been informed of anything, so we must await the end of the transfer window before having any clear picture of his future.”

Ledesma has already announced several times that he will walk away from Lazio at the end of the season using FIFA’s Article 17.

He is furious with Lotito for failing to renegotiate his contract and made no secret of his irritation at the way the President is running the club.

If the Argentine midfielder does invoke Article 17, it means he will only be able to join an overseas club for the cut-down price.

With this very tense situation and the possibility of losing him for a minor sum on the horizon, Lazio could be prepared to sell him to Juventus now.

It would not be the first time they have taken such action, as Valon Behrami was in a similar situation when he was released for West Ham United.

Juve, meanwhile, are seeking a more creative figure for their midfield in order to celebrate qualification for the Champions League.

Cristiano Zanetti and Marco Marchionni are both out for a month with muscular injuries.

another Mr.Money. Remember Ledesmar when 1st time here came here.Who is he??? Lotito plz sell him and bring Pinzi comeback,Pinzi or Palombo, i would love to see him to Lazio

What heart and soul ? Did you watch him at all last season ? And to top it all off he's not even commited to this club by heart. Ledesma needs to leave.  I do think he's a good player who might even open some eyes this season .. but based on the last two seasons I wouldnt consider him a great footballer.
