Reja won't sign today due to bad weather. He is trapped on a island at Croatian coast.

He said that Reja is shit and he only ruin the club he run. You see Croatia only has two big clubs, Dinamo Zagreb and Hajduk Split. Both of them are the richest in the leauge and title fight is usually between those two. In a league with 16 clubs Hajduk is at the moment on 7th place. Reja underperformed and now he'll leave Hajduk just like that.

Fair enough, but I'm sure you couldn't care less, as I don't. What he did with Napoli was brilliant, without him they wouldn't be able to attract World Class players like they have done. Even De Laurentiis says he regrets getting rid of Reja so quickly. Sure it worked out for them with Mazzari but for a hot-headed president to make public an error of judgement is quite something.

I'm gonna take a short nap, and shall be able to do so with a smile on my face for the first time this season.

Wow 1000 lazio fans just attacked police outside of formello, rightly justified.  Hopefully they get to lotito.  Check it out on goal.com.

I don't want to get too excited, knowing how these things can blow up at the last minute and come to nothing. However, I like Reja tremendously. He's a tough sob in the mould of Capello (with who he is very close friends). Reja is from Gorizia and is of Slovene-Italian decent. If you know anything about these people (I do because of my father in law) they are tough, extremely diligent and no BS. Reja will have the balls to tell everyone what's what including spoiled players, Lotito and Tare.   Speriamo bene!

Lazio Sack Davide Ballardini - Report
The club have sacked Ballardini, according to reports...
By Salvatore Landolina
Feb 9, 2010 3:42:00 PM

Davide Ballardini has been sacked by Lazio and will leave the club with immediate effect, according to both Dire news agency and Sky Sport Italia.

Ballardini was informed of the decision by sporting director Igli Tare on Tuesday afternoon under the orders of president Claudio Lotito.

The coach did not take the training session at Formello because of the decision. Protesting fans also stopped players from training altogether.

As things stand Ballardini is still at Formello, but he is no longer the coach.

Edy Reja, who replaces Ballardini, will arrive in Rome tonight to take on his new role. He is expected to take training on Wednesday morning.

An official announcement is expected later.

Meanwhile, three people have been taken to hospital following earlier clashes between fans and police outside the club's training ground
