Welcome mister I wish you very successful season.

- the first thing that Ballardini wanted to do is sell more players (as you know we now have 48) and tight the squad. I hope that he will keep the talents like Lollo or Kolarov.

At least now the coach is confirmed, there can be no excuses now for inactivity towards selling and buying. We will probably get a feel soon for who he likes and does not want in the squad. Delio loved Ledesma, and Mauri for a while. It will be interesting to see where Ballardini stands on this and to see who he wants at the club.

He will but i doubt if he will try to force a player on llolitto so early in the day.

True, but it would be nice to see him stamp his authority on the team and I think he will. We don't want a puppet.

This idea that the coach must be proven makes no sense, all coaches at some point in their careers are unproven. If we only choose coaches that have won big, we'd be fighting with every other team for the same 5 coaches. For example, if I coyuld simply take any coach in Italy, it would be Prandelli, but before coaching Fiorentina he coached Atalanta, Lecce, Verona, Venezia, Parma etc. - but now, he's arguably Italy's best coach.

I think he isn't a bad choice. After all, he coached Palermo and was really close to getting them to UEFA next year.

I thought i go back to this old topic, cause Ballardini will hopefully soon be sacked

There are also rumours who will be our next coach:

Don't get your hopes up AL.

Bu since you asked  this is my order of preference:

1. Diego Simeone
2. Sinisa
3. Pierluigi Casiraghi
4. Marco Giampaolo
5. Mario Barretta ( I think he deserves a shot at a big club)

6. NOBODY ELSE.

By the way, it's interesting to read some other opinions about Ballardini before it all went shit-shaped.

" True, but it would be nice to see him stamp his authority on the team and I think he will. We don't want a puppet." - Lazio365. We didn't want a puppet, but we have one.

"Very cool. Yet another developing Italian coach who could be superb. Theres no doubt that Italy produce most of the worlds best coaches, they must have a conveyor belt of them over there." - Lazio 365. How wrong can you be

"Not good enough in my opinion" - Alex. He called it, spot on

Sinisa, Simeone are sentimental favorites - but they are a risk - little serie A experience (espescially Simeone - my fave)

Sinisa's Bologna are below us in the standings, we need a coach that make the most of these players even some of the useless ones.  Mancini is still out there even if it is unlikely.

I'd prefer Mancini over every name you mentioned!

Di Canio would be interresting, but Lotito would never allow this.

Mancini? GET REAL EVERYBODY!

If we have a presidente who gives a wage to Inzaghi, Manfredini and Firmani , but not a decent one for Pandev or Ledesma, do you really expect him to want to fork out a wage for a class manager like Mancini?

REALLY?!?!?!

He won't come back, get it out of your heads people. I'm putting my sparkling reputation on it.

Napoli are off to a great start with their new coach Mazzari and their record in the last 3 games totally puts us to shame.

Napoli's last 3 games since Mazzari took over:

Napoli 1-0 Fiorentina
Napoli 2-2 AC Milan
Napoli 3-2 Juventus

Now who can honestly say that this team isn't better than us this season ? If we pulled off these results my confidence would high right now.

Whoever we get better be credible .. give us mancini!!!!!!
