This was always one of the problems,no major candidates for the job any how what coach with any experience would take the job on considering our position?? Call me cautious,it could turn out to be a mistake,we wont know till we've tried,but are any of these guys any better than what we had sometimes better the devil we know???????????

Davide Ballardini To Sign For Lazio Today - Report
The coach is in the capital and on the verge of being employed by Claudio Lotito...
Former Palermo coach Davide Ballardini is set to put pen to paper and sign a deal with Lazio within the next few hours according to Sky Sport Italia.
After weeks of speculation and constant denials from Aquile chief Claudio Lotito, the coaching riddle at Formello is about to be solved by Ballardini. It is reported the Italian arrived in Rome this morning and headed straight to the club's headquarters with his assistant, Carlo Regno.
Ballardini and company are then expected to head to Lotito's Villa San Sebastiano in order to put pen to paper and sign a two-year deal worth €750,000 per season.
Ballardini left Palermo at the end of the season and he has been hotly tipped to join the Aquile ever since Delio Rossi announced he would leave the Roman side. The former Biancocelesti coach left the club officially last week.
The former Rosanero coach's first task will be to deal with the questions surrounding the futures of Cristian Ledesma and Goran Pandev.

Lazio have appointed Davide Ballardini on a two-year deal and the new coach will be unveiled officially at the club's Formello headquarters at 12pm tomorrow, according to the latest reports in Italy.
Both Sky Sport Italia and La Repubblica are reporting that the club have already announced the appointment, but there has not been an official statement on Lazio's website just yet.
Earlier reports claimed Ballardini was seen in Rome and he was set to meet with Lotito this afternoon to put pen to paper. That seems to have happened already, and it is suggested the coach has been given a two-year deal worth €750,000 per season.
The new coach will fill the vacant position which was left by coach Delio Rossi who quit the club last week after a four year spell there. Rossi led the Aquillotti to Coppa Italia glory which resulted with a place in next season's Europa League.
Ballardini arrives from Palermo after just one season at the helm.

If you look at Palermo's matches from season, you can see Palermo did good versus top teams. I just hope Lazio can now stop thinking of a backup goalie and a coach and start really getting busy in this transfer market. There is so much oppertunity out there. |

So if he will continue that trend, it means he will do poorly against smaller teams, just like rossi did.  |

- the first thing that Ballardini wanted to do is sell more players (as you know we now have 48) and tight the squad. I hope that he will keep the talents like Lollo or Kolarov.

Davide Ballardini Has The Right Mentality To Coach Lazio - Claudio Lotito
The Aquilotti supremo believes that his new coach will bring a professional attitude and lead the club to success....
Next season, Lazio will be coached by Davide Ballardini as Delio Rossi has opted to leave the club and not negotiate a renewal on his contract that expires this summer. President Claudio Lotito commented on the decision to appoint the former Cagliari boss.
"Lazio is on the stock exchange and has an obligation to communicate this to the market first," he explained on the program Gr Parlamento.
"He [Ballardini] is a person that lives on the field 24 hours out of 24 and has the right personality to compete at a sophisticated club like Lazio."
The out-spoken patron is eager to put all the pieces in place for the Biancocelesti as quickly as possibly, as they will be competing in Europe next season as a result of having won the Coppa Italia.
Ballardini lead Palermo to an eighth place finish in Serie A this season, narrowly missing out on a Europa League berth. He left the Rosanero after it was revealed he would be replaced by ex-Catania tactician Walter Zenga.
