2m a year?  Can we get Guus Hiddink instead?

I'm all for spending big bucks on a high profile coach.

Ha ha Classic!  But seriously for 2 mil a year surely there must be someone else higher.  Hiddink, Bernd Schuster (my personal favorite).

However the "Trap" would bring back some prestige that's been lost this season.  Trap's a proven winner.  Benfica hadn't won the title for x amount of years, one season in Trap wins.  Same in Austria with Salzburg.  Not to mention how many scudetti he's won.

I was joking lol.  But lotito is working hard to get trap.  And trap is one of the most successful coaches in serie a history so who are we to complain.  But we wont get him.

According to Goal.com Reja is going to be announce our new coach.

Reja In Rome To Sign Lazio Deal & Take Over From Davide Ballardini - Report
The former Napoli coach is expected to complete his move to Lazio...

Edy Reja will fly to Rome to finalise contract details with Lazio as he prepares to take over from Davide Ballardini.

On Monday night Reja wasn't sure over his future, saying: "At the moment there is nothing new, and I cannot say more."

But Il Corriere Dello Sport reports he reached an agreement with Hadjuk Split last night to rescind his deal without having to pay a penalty or clause.

He will now meet with Lazio president Claudio Lotito to put the finishing touches to an 18-month deal. He will also be presented with a mandate to ensure the club dodges relegation.

Reja, should the deal be struck, will take his first training session on Wednesday and make his debut at Parma on Sunday.

An official announcement is expected later.

Would that please us all abit more

The only time we looked enthusiastic to play was in the coppa italia.  We lost tons of home games.  It makes no sense to beat teams like Juventus and Milan in the Coppa Italia and then lose to teams fighting for relegation, that was the problem with Rossi.  He was way to inconsistent.  Lotito was right to fire him.  But the problem is he hired ballardini the retard in his place.  If you compare any coach to ballardini it makes them look like God cause Ballardini is just so shit.

Agree. Rossi got the players up for the coppa last season where some extraordinary performances and results came, but the form in the league was poor and it had been the season prior to that as well. 12th in 2007-2008 didnt cut it, 10th in 2008-2009 didnt cut it. Yes, he was far to inconsistent and numerous times we went four/five even six rounds without a win. Indeed, after christmas last season we only picked up 23 points from 21 games. Not exactly dissimilar to the 22 points from 23 games this season so far. Its been said before, by latius, that we've basically had the form of a relegation team for the whole of 2009, and now the beginning of this year. There's the proof of it, 45 points from our last 44 league games. Barely an average of a point a game. Neither of these coaches have done a good job for Lazio in Serie A since Rossi guided us to a champions league berth in 2006-2007.

And, reading around, reports suggest that Ballardini was sacked last night over the phone, football Italia, and that Reja is going to be offered a deal for 18 months.

I see light at the end of the tunnel...

Reja in, Balla out!
Ledesma promised Lotito, he will not use article 17 to leave lazio in the summer.

This will be a huge step forward, nevertheless it will be the worst season as long as i follow lazio.

Did anyone of u think at the beginning of the season, that our goal 2010 is to survive in serie a??

Yes. Reja will fly to Rome today according to la lazio siamo noi. The severance fee of 150,000 euros has been paid/ will be paid by Lazio. He may even take a training session today.

I had little chat with a friend from Crotatia. I ask him about Reja and I he really make my day.

He said that Reja is shit and he only ruin the club he run. You see Croatia only has two big clubs, Dinamo Zagreb and Hajduk Split. Both of them are the richest in the leauge and title fight is usually between those two. In a league with 16 clubs Hajduk is at the moment on 7th place. Reja underperformed and now he'll leave Hajduk just like that.

But hey at least Balla is sucked

Once upon a time, when others were contemplating upon higher standings and conquest of Europe, misguided by blind faith and misled by the success of recent campaings, a great man from the North prophesied a terrible faith, his name was Latius...

Great great news! He did wonderful job at Napoli. As for his Croatian job: that doesn't bother me. Sometimes the problem is not in the head coach.
And the other good news from today:

Long Overdue Reja to Save the Day

Whatever happended at Heyduk pales to what he did with Napoli we need to fight relegation first before we think of a championship coach
