What is new from Italy for Pandev?

Reports have an offer from  rubentus for Almiron and 7-8 million but Lotito asking for money plus half of Ceglie. The most consistent rumour is Bayern. If he leaves, I wish him well, but more importantly, that we get something worthy for him (i.e. find  sucker who will over pay )

Source: Lalaziosiamonoi.it

Lazio chairman Claudio Lotito says : "Goran Pandev would like to leave, but I will try to change his mind. I will meet with him this week. I would like to keep him for one or two more years. However, money is not an issue".

Lotito: Pandev crazy to leave Lazio

Lazio president Claudio Lotito says Goran Pandev would be mad to leave the club.

“I have read that Pandev wants to leave and that his desire is not related to money,” Lotito told the Corriere dello Sport.

“The club have no intention of selling him. If I were to give him honest advice I would say that players who have left Lazio in the past have done badly from a football point of view.

“As a club we never put him on the market, but it does seem like he wants to leave, so we will see what happens.”

I cant blame Pandev due to his desire to play in CL. However, as president, Lotito have to do his best and convince him to stay here. We should build a quality team with some additions to where we need. This team's current capacity is enough to play for top 4 but we have been suffering from inconsistency. Next year, for fund and prestige, and to keep our best guys and to bring new ones, we must be in CL.

UEFA is not where we are supposed to be. It was just consolation for us after bad league performance.

Uefa is not but it is a good take off point for glory to return to us, thats why we need good players and a new coach for the next level.
If we can keep pandev lets just sell him high and wish him well.

Alas this is now the way of modern football and in reality we can do very little about it .. we just have to accept whatever decision he makes and accepts the money

Pandev's agent and Lotito had a meeting just minutes ago.
Pandev manager after the meeting : Goran wants to leave. He is thankful to Lazio but he is looking for new experience.

Lotito will now meet Rossi and talk about his future.

I know. We are already having problems with shelf-life as it is. What a total waste of time that would be.

Sorry anti roma, but the team we have is not as good as Milan, Juve, Inter or Fiorentina at the moment. I agree we have been very inconsistent this year and should have been top six, but our central defence is not good enough, neither is the creative midfield. If we reinforce these area in the summer, then we have a decent chance to compete with Fiorentina, Genoa, Merda for the fourth spot, maybe Palermo will be up there as well. The league is a lot stronger than it was when we got into the CL in 2006/2007 season after finishing 3rd. All the teams mentioned want to get into the Cl now and will reinforce accordingly, we just have to do it better. After all if Genoa can almost do it in their second season in Serie A, why can't we?
