This team's current capacity is enough to play for top 4 but we have been suffering from inconsistency. Next year, for fund and prestige, and to keep our best guys and to bring new ones, we must be in CL.

Sorry anti roma, but the team we have is not as good as Milan, Juve, Inter or Fiorentina at the moment. I agree we have been very inconsistent this year and should have been top six, but our central defence is not good enough, neither is the creative midfield. If we reinforce these area in the summer, then we have a decent chance to compete with Fiorentina, Genoa, Merda for the fourth spot, maybe Palermo will be up there as well. The league is a lot stronger than it was when we got into the CL in 2006/2007 season after finishing 3rd. All the teams mentioned want to get into the Cl now and will reinforce accordingly, we just have to do it better. After all if Genoa can almost do it in their second season in Serie A, why can't we?

Include Genoa in that top 4 list, L. Yeah, Anti-Roma I'm afraid we've moved down the pecking order considerably, whilst Genoa have overtaken us as the phantom team who can steal a champs spot. They will almost certainly soon have Floccarri, Acquafresca and Crespo. These are the kind of players we should be signing, not all three obviously, but they are beating us to players. It wouldn't surprise me if Angeleri was next. It's a tough realisation, but Lazio aren't the draw they used to be, far from it.

This is starting to look like dejavu of last season.  Competition in Serie A is at its strongest in the last few seasons.  We should be trying to get players right now before we end up with the left over scraps.  Why even work towards europe and then fall flat, this is Pandev's biggest reason to leave.  This same reason prevents other players from coming, they want to see some investment.

Fuck England, and particularly Tottenham, he needs to go to a Champions league team in any country. He said it would never be an Italian team, but frankly, I'd rather that then a mid-table English team even if the wages are good. Naturally I wish him all the best and there are endless highlights from the fella, a true Lazio legend, however, I won't forgive him if he does a Behrami and goes to a club which has no chance of regular silverware and european competition. Pandev to La Liga or Pandev to Bayern is what I'm hoping for, as they would also be prepared to pay that little bit more.

this guy just said it all.... i hope he doesnt do what behrami did..... i will miss him, but forever follow his carrer

I second that!

Lazio President Lotito: Pandev Can Leave, But There Are No Offers
The Macedonian will not be sold at a cut-rate price, according to the Aquilotti patron...
Striker Goran Pandev has made it clear he would like to leave Lazio, attracting the interest of clubs like Juventus and Bayern Munich.

However, president Claudio Lotito has insisted that he has received no offers for the 25-year-old and when he does, they must be acceptable to him.

"He wants to leave and we are trying to satisfy him," he admitted, according to Goal.com Italia.

"However, I will not devalue any assets of the club [including Pandev]. The only large investment we have made is buying [Mauro] Zarate for €20 million.

"Nonetheless, I haven't received any offers for Pandev."

Meanwhile, the Biancocelesti are trying to hold on to midfielder Francelino Matuzalem, who spent the past season on loan at the Stadio Olimpico.

"We are negotiating with Real Zaragoza, trying to determine if the player can remain here," concluded Lotito.

Not looking good, everyone knows were desperate to unload him which is probably why they are going to be very few good offers.  This is what happens when everything that should be confidential within the club goes completely public.
